3) Where is Allah?

Age: Preschool

Blue, black & Yellow paper – Glue – Scissors – Colors – Cotton

Today we started with a quick review on Who Created Us? and Allah’s Creations.

Afterwards, I asked them “Where do you think Allah is?”. They brainstormed for ideas like, the ground, in paradise… etc. Then I concluded by stating that since we don’t know how Allah looks, so he needs to be in a place we can’t see, and I asked them to list the things they can see in the sky. When they were done, I asked them if they can see beyond what they said? And, they said “No”. That is when I stated that Allah is in a palce in the sky we can’t see or go to now โ˜๏ธ And we started creating a sky using blue & black paper. We also put some things we have in the sky (sun – moon – birds – clouds – stars).

NB. Before giving them the blue paper, write at the back of it the word “Allah” without showing it to them.

Finally, I held one of their skies and asked them “What is this?” When they said “The sky”, I asked if they can see Allah in it, and they said no. Then I flipped the paper to the backwards saying “Exactly, we can’t see Allah in the sky, but he is there”, and I pointed to the word Allah written on the backward๐Ÿ˜‰ It was a WOW moment for them ๐Ÿ˜€
